Microphone access is optional. Audio is processed to generate responses. Captions or transcripts may be processed by technology providers.

Access to information

Authorized TUFF support staff and contracted providers may access only information needed to deliver, secure and support the service.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained as reasonably needed for service delivery, invoices, safety and legal or ESA records. Parents may request access, correction or deletion where permitted.

Prohibited information

Students must not share Social Security numbers, passwords, financial information, medical records, home-access codes or other sensitive information.

AI limitations

AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Important academic, medical, legal, financial and safety information must be independently verified.

Parent supervision

Parents should supervise younger students, review progress and remain available when microphone features are used.

Human support and complaints

Parents may use the enrollment form or call 1-888-431-6036 to report concerns and request human assistance.

Emergency escalation

The platform is not an emergency service. Stop the session and contact 911 or the appropriate authority if someone is in immediate danger.

Inappropriate content

Stop the interaction and report it to TUFF. Access may be suspended while the concern is reviewed.

FERPA and COPPA practices

TUFF uses parent authorization, limited educational use, access controls and parent data-request options where applicable. TUFF does not claim FERPA or COPPA certification or universal compliance without appropriate review.

Clear purchasing terms

Enrollment, cancellation and ESA payment rules.

Before activationDuplicate or mistaken payments are reviewed promptly. ESA payments are not accepted or activated until authorization is verified.
After activationActivated service periods and used credits are handled according to the published Refund & Cancellation Policy and any controlling ESA-program direction.
Renewal and pausePrivate-pay cancellation requests are due at least seven days before the next payment. Subscription pauses are available by request.
Unused creditsUnused credits expire at the end of the applicable 30-day service period. Approved program-directed refunds are returned through the original ESA process.
